Papertrey Ink Designers Challenge

Hi Everyone! Happy February! Here is my card for the Designer challenge over at Papertrey ink. I used all Papertrey products for this card except for the striped paper. Had to search for "sweets" but found an old set that had cupcakes. "It's a Celebration"from way back.

Fab Friday at Papertrey Ink

Flowers with Embossing Layer

My card today features Flowers with an embossinbg layer for the challenge At Papertrey Ink "What do I do with this?"I've used Papertrey Ink Beautiful Spring Berries and embossed with silver. PTI mat and sentiment from Butterfly hope.

PT INk challenge

This i my card for Papertrey Ink challenge. Checki out here. For my card I used Backgrounds Back to Basics Polka Dots and Woodgrain stamps. I also used Friends til the End and sentiment from Through the Trees.

Ranunculus for PTI

 One of my absolute favorite flowers. Ranunculus from PTI Cutting Garden stamp set. As my background I used PTI patterned paper Black and White basics and Confetti die. To be entered into the The Great Cover up challenge.

                           

PTI Stencil challege

 Another card for the challenge over at Papertrey Ink Make a card using a PTI stencil. I realised I do not own one of their stencils so I improvised. I used the Plaid Mix and Mat die to use as my stencil and also used the zig zag part as the frame for my sentiment. I used Beautiful Blooms 2 and Brushed Birds. Aqua mist cardstock. Next shopping list at PTI will have stencils on it. Love those berry branches!!

  

Yellow Flowers

 Been a long time since I last had an entry so here goes!! I am entering this into Papertrey Great Cover up

a challenge to use yellow flowers along with Papertrey ink products. Here is my card. I used Rosy Posy stamps and dies. Sentiments is from Brushed Birds and random dots from Polka Dot basics. 

Win it Wednesday

I'm back after a bit of a break from creating cards. It's great seeing some exciting changes happening over at Papertrey Ink. This is new and a first try for me at Laurie's  Win It Wednesday As my favorite stamp set and dies I used PTI Rosie Posie. It is a retired set but a great set with lots of versatility. Here's my card.

Dry Embossing CFC #215

Last hurrah for Casual Fridays challenges and the end of creating Christmas cards for this season. I have loaded my card up on lots of dry embossing as that is what this challenge is all about!! So sad to see Casual Fridays challenges go. I have been entering into these challenges for many years and enjoyed them very much. All good things do come to an end I guess. My tall card features a variety of embossing folders and a Santa cut with my Silhouette. Nuvo drops for the berries and nose. Darkroom door stamps for the Ho Ho Ho. Casual Fridays #214 Inspiration challenge

Today's card is for the Casual Fridays challenge. You can check it out the details HERE This is the inspiration photo.

And here's my card. 

I used a Stripe Tim Holtz folder and the new Tin Tile embossing folder from SU and decked it up with some sponging and Nuvo dots. The Merry Christmas is a very old stamp set (no name) kind. Trees and the branches SU. 

Gold card for CFC #213

Shades of Gold is what my card today is all about. I'm entering into the challenge at Casual Fridays and you can see it HERE For my sentiment I used a background stamp from Stampin Up. Probably one of the first stamps I ever bought. The velum heart is simply dipped on the versamark ink and then I embossed that. I think it would be perfect for a birthday or wedding.

Make It Monday revisited #305

 I absolutely loved Laurie's card and tried to pretty much make it to a tee. Mine feels like it fell a bit short but here it is just the same. Check out her video HERE . On my card I used PTI Wreath for all Seasons (embossed on background) and the middle die is PTI. Bkgrnd die is Spellbinders. Sentiment is Darkroom door. Pine needles by SU. Background leaves are PTI Holiday Tree.

Masking and Stamping

Today I am sharing a card for Papertrey's Make it Monday #343. Betsy shows a great technique to try with Masking. Check it out HERE I used PTI Tree Trimming Trio for my card. Colors I used are Aqua Mist, Ocean Tides and SU Midnight Muse. 

Winter Birthday card

I am sharing a card that I made for the Casual Fridays Challenge # 212 sketch challenge. Details HERE For my card I sponged some TH spun sugar into a masked rectangle to create a bit of a background for my snowflakes. Added some rhinestones and shimmery paint to the snowflakes to bling them up for a winter birthday card. Stamps are from SU. This is the sketch photo.

Envelope Bags with Patterned Paper MIM #342

Another fun project for the PTI challenge. Lexi Daly shows how to make a little bag out of any ordinary envelope.  CLiCK HERE to see her tutorial. I used PTI Holiday Flourishes and Swirls patterned paper. It's an 8x8 in paper so it ends up being quite small. Cute little package for some mints or chocolates!
