Make It Monday revisited #305

 I absolutely loved Laurie's card and tried to pretty much make it to a tee. Mine feels like it fell a bit short but here it is just the same. Check out her video HERE . On my card I used PTI Wreath for all Seasons (embossed on background) and the middle die is PTI. Bkgrnd die is Spellbinders. Sentiment is Darkroom door. Pine needles by SU. Background leaves are PTI Holiday Tree.

Masking and Stamping

Today I am sharing a card for Papertrey's Make it Monday #343. Betsy shows a great technique to try with Masking. Check it out HERE I used PTI Tree Trimming Trio for my card. Colors I used are Aqua Mist, Ocean Tides and SU Midnight Muse. 

Envelope Bags with Patterned Paper MIM #342

Another fun project for the PTI challenge. Lexi Daly shows how to make a little bag out of any ordinary envelope.  CLiCK HERE to see her tutorial. I used PTI Holiday Flourishes and Swirls patterned paper. It's an 8x8 in paper so it ends up being quite small. Cute little package for some mints or chocolates!

Make it Monday #339

I'm coming in just under the wire with my card for the PTI Make it Monday #339. Read all about it Here I used some PTI Black and White patterned paper for my frame and a sentiment from retired Believe stamps. It's a quick and easy card.

Packaging with Printed Papers MIM #337

Today my project is a Christmas Cookie Box. I think it would perfectly hold some gingerbread cookies. I've used some of the PTI retired paper Rustic Snowflakes for the gable box and leaves and sentiment from Holiday Tree. Details for this challenge can be found by clicking HERE

Gilded leaves

Today I have a card to share that is for the Make it Monday Gilded Leaves challenge. I have made an anniversary card that I needed for a 60th celebration tomorrow. These leaves are a perfect embellishment for a fancy card such as this. I used Lovely Layers and the retired Life set for my stamps. Damask Designs for the sentiment. The berries were cut with a SU die which I painted with a platinum finish. Definitely a fun technique!!

Create Along with Us September

Here is my first Christmas card of 2018. My favorite cards to make kicked off by Papertrey Ink Create Along with Us. Check out all the details HERE
I chose to use Betsy Veldman's cute little winter scene card as my inspiration. I used SU embossing folders for the snow, the woodgrain frame and a SU Woodgrain stamp that I used to look like Santa's in front of his winter woodpile. He's taken a few slices out to carry his greetings. Santa and holly/berry are from Believe retired PTI set. Sentiments are from PTI Tree Trimming Trio. Paper on aqua tree is from PTI Bitty Star Basics.

Glitter Inlays

This card is for the Make it Monday challenge 334 Check out the details of Glitter Inlays HERE I made a Fall thank you card with PTI Woodgrain embossing plate and the sentiment is from Through the trees. I added a few little speckles with markers. I glossed up the heart with glossy accents.

Happy Friday Everyone! My card is for the challenge at Papertrey Ink MIM. HERE is the details.
I used Polka Dot Basics for the background in grey. Flowers are from an old SU set Embrace Life. Thanks die is from PTI.

I thought I'd jazz it up a bit with glossy accents on the butterflies and copic colored a bit more yellow on the flowers. Not sure if I like it better or not?

I used a variety of dies for my flowers: PTI Beautiful Blooms 2 and SU Botanical and Eastern Medallions. I used Lovely Labels to make my leaves and then cut them out. Sentiment is from Up Up and Away. Dots were made using Enamel Accents

PTI Stitching Challenge

This is my card for the Make it Monday Challenge #318. For details go HERE I have stitched a heart and stamped it with a few tiny flowers from Garden Variety. Sentiment is from Damask Designs and the rectangular lacy piece is a PTI Mix and Match plate. Added a few pearls from an old strand necklace. Woodgrain embossing plate is from SU that I sponged with Distress ink.

Z fold card for Make it Monday

Second card I'm posting this week and this one is for the Make it Monday #295 challenge. It's  a z-fold card and all the info can be found HERE I used the Up and Away and Hello stamp sets by PTI and an old set from SU Through the trees. I gold embossed the balloons, sentiment and trees. The Zfold gave the balloons an appearance of lifting. I like it!

Monochrome Color Pop #294

It's been a few weeks since I've joined the PTI challenges. Summer's been busy! I've made a monochromatic card with a bit of bling and pink today for this challenge. Check it out HERE I used the stamp sets Friends Til the End and Enjoy the ride. Heat embossed black with some memento grey for the monochrome part.

Pantone Theme

This card is for the Make it Monday Challenge at PTI Check it out Here I did a bit of research and have learned lots about Pantone chips. Very interesting!! For this card I used PTI stamps Enjoy the Ride, It's a Celebration and All About You (hand cut balloons). SU Pretty in Pink cardstock and ink and copic markers.

Create Along with Us June '17

This week is the Create Along with Us at PTI. All the details can be found HERE I have chosen to recreate Laurie's card. I'm just loving everything about it!  I pretty much copied it as best I could with my supplies. This is her card.

For my card I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder to give the backing texture. I ran my versamark over top and then brushed it with some pearl powder to replicate her shimmery background. Dies by Stamplorations and Spellbinders. I used PTI Soft Stone cardstock and stamps Beautiful Blooms II, Life and Remember to create the flowers and leaves. My flowers were bigger and took up more space so I couldn't fit an extra sentiment. Other than that it's a CASE!!

 

Felt Flower Card

Today's card is for the Papertrey Ink Make it Monday Challenge. All details can be checked out HERE I used PTI Felt and Beautiful Blooms smallest die to make my center flower. Leaves were cut with Wplus9 leaf die. Tiny flowers with Top Dog die. Sentiment from PTI Through the Trees. Scalloped squares by Nestability. I was hestitant about joining this challenge because I wasn't sure about the felt flowers but they really are fun to make and really add a special touch to a handmade card.

May '17 Blog Hop

It's time for the Blog Hop over at Papertrey Ink. All the details can be found HERE This is the inspiration photo.

I made a Thank you card for my take on the photo. I used the PTI stamp set Remember. Long time since I used that set. And the SU set Heard from the Heart. I stamped it on watercolor paper and then watercolored after stamping and added a bit of black centers with some glossy accents although it's hard to see. A little tag stamps with Lots of Thoughts. I love these colors!!
