Winter Birthday card

I am sharing a card that I made for the Casual Fridays Challenge # 212 sketch challenge. Details HERE For my card I sponged some TH spun sugar into a masked rectangle to create a bit of a background for my snowflakes. Added some rhinestones and shimmery paint to the snowflakes to bling them up for a winter birthday card. Stamps are from SU. This is the sketch photo.

Flowers in Reverse

I used a variety of dies for my flowers: PTI Beautiful Blooms 2 and SU Botanical and Eastern Medallions. I used Lovely Labels to make my leaves and then cut them out. Sentiment is from Up Up and Away. Dots were made using Enamel Accents

Monochrome Color Pop #294

It's been a few weeks since I've joined the PTI challenges. Summer's been busy! I've made a monochromatic card with a bit of bling and pink today for this challenge. Check it out HERE I used the stamp sets Friends Til the End and Enjoy the ride. Heat embossed black with some memento grey for the monochrome part.

Pantone Theme

This card is for the Make it Monday Challenge at PTI Check it out Here I did a bit of research and have learned lots about Pantone chips. Very interesting!! For this card I used PTI stamps Enjoy the Ride, It's a Celebration and All About You (hand cut balloons). SU Pretty in Pink cardstock and ink and copic markers.

Felt Flower Card

Today's card is for the Papertrey Ink Make it Monday Challenge. All details can be checked out HERE I used PTI Felt and Beautiful Blooms smallest die to make my center flower. Leaves were cut with Wplus9 leaf die. Tiny flowers with Top Dog die. Sentiment from PTI Through the Trees. Scalloped squares by Nestability. I was hestitant about joining this challenge because I wasn't sure about the felt flowers but they really are fun to make and really add a special touch to a handmade card.

The supplies I used are PTI stamps Hands of Time and Through the Trees and Casual Fridays Pretty Posies. Die cuts PTI Beautiful Blossoms, Hands of Time, Averyelle leaves. That pretty much sums it up. Now to check out the other Blog Hop entries!

Black and White to Color

This is my card for the Make it Monday#260 Black and White with Color. See it HERE. I used the numbers from the PTI Outlines Alphabet and Polka Dot Basics for the circles. I did basic coloring with Copics. I added glossy accents to the dots to give the card a bit of glitz and interest.

We are having a rainy gray day here so it's a great day to get a card into the challenge over at Papertrey Ink. Check it out HERE. I used PTI felt along with the Polka Dot Parade die and woodgrain impression plate for the frame and stamps from Turning a New Leaf and All About You.

Papertrey May Blog Hop

I got sparkles and glass beads everywhere with this project!!! Here it is! To see the details of this Hop click HERE I used the PTI Strawberry Patch stamps to create my watercolor strawberries. I sparkled up the pink edge and spots on the strawberries with glass beads and stickles to give it a sugary sweet theme.

Papertrey Ink March Create Along With Us

This week I am playing along with Papertrey Create Along With Us March edition. I used Lizzie Jones  card as my inspiration. This is her cute one layer card

 PTI stamp sets I used are, gold embossed swirl icing lines from Little Bitty Bird, sentiment is from Through the Trees and the flowers and leaves are from Beautiful Blooms II and Turning a New Leaf.

I used PTI Beautiful Blooms II Stamps to create the patterned paper at the top and Strawberry Patch for the top of my little tag.

Inside Out card at Papertrey Make it Monday

It's been awhile again since I took the time to take part in the fun challenges at Papertrey Make it Monday. This one is for Bringing the Inside out #215. I used PTI Stamp set All About You, paper; PTI Bitty Dot Basics and It's Official. Stamp by Simon Says Stamp. I added a bit of Wink of Stella pen to hearts and sun face flower center. Cut flower with Nestabilities.

Strawberry Make it Monday #209

An all occasion card for the challenge at #209 Make it Monday White on white die cuts with a pop of color I used PTI stamps Strawberry Patch (definitely a favourite). Berry Sorbet on front strawberries and SU Real Red on background berry. I clear embossed the bigger stamp as a background although it is hard to see it.

Negative Cover Plate #2

Here's a second go at the Make It Monday #177 "Using Cover Plate Negatives". Again I used the PTI Twist coverplate to lay the diamond shapes and the little gold inbetween shapes. Great way to lay a perfect line of shapes to a card. A very clean and simple card which I don't often make.

And here's my card!! I used banners (actually it's the hats) from PTI It's a Celebration, sentiment from Butterfly Kisses. Envelope top from Strawberry Patch. Bird is punched with SU punch. Some of the same paper as my previous card. Now to check go out the rest of the creativity on the hop!!

Wish Big

A Birthday card for the challenge at Casual Fridays  Made it just under the midnight deadline. Yay!

Pearly Finish

For this card I used Perfect pearls to be entered in the challenges at PTI Make it Monday and SimonSaysStamp  anything goes. I used stamps by PSX (background) and PTI -Through the Trees.  I used a versa mark embossing pen with gold embossing powder at the bottom to add the detail. When I took the picture I caught a bit of the sheen with a different angle to show off what a difference the Perfect Pearls make.

Washi Tape at Waltzing Mouse

It's a frosty morning in Saskatchewan Canada. WOW wind chills of -43!! Calm and frosty. Actual temps were in the -35 range. Too cold for me. Forecast is that we'll be back in the + side of temps in a day or two again.
Here's my first shot at the Challenge over at Waltzing Mouse I absolutely love Washi tape and this is an awesome tutorial on how to make it. I love the WM stamps although I only have a few sets so that made this a challenge for sure. I made my washi tape with a scroll from Compliments of the Season and the pink one is made with one side of a label from Holiday Labels No 14. I used scor tape to mount my tissue paper. The sentiment is from Wplus9 Spring Tags(so nice and versatile)
So that's my Shabby Chic card a little shabby and a little bling!!

I used PTI stamp set Friends Till the End and Black and Berry Sorbet cardstock. I used SU grosgrain ribbon and embossing powder. Sentiment is Unity Stamps. I actually embossed with PTI Woodgrain Impression plate but it's not showing up on the photo very well. 

Roll the Die

This was a different fun challenge from Papertrey Make it Monday You roll the die to make the decisions for you. I found it almost easier because I knew exactly what I had to use for colors and stamps. I usually change my mind so often while I'm working on something so this was "stick with what you roll" kind of a project. Not sure if I'm loving the finished piece but it's ok.
