PTI Stitching Challenge

This is my card for the Make it Monday Challenge #318. For details go HERE I have stitched a heart and stamped it with a few tiny flowers from Garden Variety. Sentiment is from Damask Designs and the rectangular lacy piece is a PTI Mix and Match plate. Added a few pearls from an old strand necklace. Woodgrain embossing plate is from SU that I sponged with Distress ink.

Today I am sharing a card that I have created for the Casual Fridays challenge. To find the details check it out HERE

I just got a the new SU package of papers of the InColors. I wanted to use the Lemon Lime Twist and the Berry Burst together. My favourites along with the Powder Pink. The dies I used were CF Pretty Posies, Memory Box center burst and Stamplorations smile die. I scored the leaf with my stylus and sponged the flower for a bit of texture.

Create Along with Us June '17

This week is the Create Along with Us at PTI. All the details can be found HERE I have chosen to recreate Laurie's card. I'm just loving everything about it!  I pretty much copied it as best I could with my supplies. This is her card.

For my card I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder to give the backing texture. I ran my versamark over top and then brushed it with some pearl powder to replicate her shimmery background. Dies by Stamplorations and Spellbinders. I used PTI Soft Stone cardstock and stamps Beautiful Blooms II, Life and Remember to create the flowers and leaves. My flowers were bigger and took up more space so I couldn't fit an extra sentiment. Other than that it's a CASE!!

 

Casual Fridays Celebration CFC173

Today I made my card to enter into the Casual Friday's challenge celebrating 6 years. I stamped 6 Ranunculus. They are such a pretty flower. All the details for the challenge can be checked out HERE  I used a Stampendous stamp for the flowers and Unity sentiment. I love the look of watercolor but just never get to trying it so this is one of my first of attempts. I watercolored the flowers with Zig clean color markers. Added a bit of glossy accents. Pretty simple and definitely going to try it again.

Casual Friday's Color Challenge

Today my card is for the challenge at Casual Fridiay's It's all about Pink, white and navy. My card does look like black and white but it truly is navy. I used the Pretty Posies set with gold embossing.

Casual Fridays Challenge #155

My post today is for the Casual Friday's Challenge to check it out go HERE  It's all about black and white with a pop of color. I used retired stamps with SU yellow ink and the white is cut using my Silhouette Cameo and then mounted on black cardstock.

PTI Create Along with Us June 2016

Faux Brush Lettering

Happy Friday!! Here's my card for the Make It Monday #246 I used Lovely Layers stamps set and dies and a new 2016 SU saleabration stamp. My letters aren't as nice as I'd like them to be but I will be trying this technique again. Practise makes perfect!!

Smile Card for MIMonday

I'm joining the Papertrey Ink Make It Monday 245 this week. It's a challenge to create something with isolated color. For my card I used PTI products Black and White Back to Basics paper collection, stamps: Beautiful Blooms, All About You, Background basics:Text Style. Additional stamps from SSS Happy and Smile and SU butterfly.

Paper Clippings

This is my card for the challenge over at Papertrey Ink Capture the Moment Paper Clippings My card uses 9 different techniques as a part of the celebration of PTI's 9th anniversary. I used Aqua mist and Razzberry fizz. My main stamps used were PTI Birds of a Feather along with the die.
My 9 techniques are: Paper piecing in a stamped square, chalk coloring over versamarked stamped, using stamp pad on embossing folder, just stamped, ink splattering, embossing folder with punched circle, sponging color over embossed, gel medium over stencil, clear embossed and then inked.

I used PTI Stamps and die Polka Dot Parade#11 and the Sunshine Impression plate.  I coloured the heart with copic markers and a bit of wink of stella pen. A little gold embossing and that's it!!

Create with Us, January 2016

This is a challenge new to me from Papertrey Ink. Check out the details: Create with Us My inspiration came from Melissa Philips Lilybean Paperie Her card is so pretty! I used PTI Butterfly Kisses die, Button die (for middle of butterfly), stamp sets Fancy Flourishes, sentiment from Little Lady and paper is Green Tea Leaves.

Inside Out card at Papertrey Make it Monday

It's been awhile again since I took the time to take part in the fun challenges at Papertrey Make it Monday. This one is for Bringing the Inside out #215. I used PTI Stamp set All About You, paper; PTI Bitty Dot Basics and It's Official. Stamp by Simon Says Stamp. I added a bit of Wink of Stella pen to hearts and sun face flower center. Cut flower with Nestabilities.

No Outline Watercolor #173

It's certainly been awhile since my last post!! Whew, summer time busy. This technique/challenge  looked so fun I just knew I wanted to try it. It looks lots easier than it actually is. This was my third attempt. I want to try more of this for sure. My stamp is the big strawberry from PTI Strawberry Patch. I used ink refills by SU. To keep my dots on the strawberries I used my versamark pen and a bit of clear embossing powder to keep the ink from seeping into them. It worked quite well. Added PTI jute twine and a little wooden butterfly. 

Watercolored Backgrounds Make it Monday

This is my card for the Papertrey Ink Make it Monday challenge First time ever that I tried a watercolor project. Always like the look of them and have wanted to try it forever so here was my chance. I really like the effect of the embossing over the watercolor. I used PTI stamp sets Life and Butterfly Kisses. Sentiment stamp by SU(retired). A little colorful so I subdued it with the kraft and brown.

An LOL Card

A new take on the LOL computer lingo. Loads of Love!! This is for the challenge over at Papertrey Ink Make it Monday This was a fun card to create. A little time consuming but enjoyable. I used PTI Outlines Alpahbet for the L's. I wanted an uppercase letter so I used the number 7 upside down and bending it open a bit so it looked more like an L. Stamped and then fussy cut out. Embossed with SU Mambo Melon. Stamps: Grass and flowers PTI Garden Variety and car from Enjoy the Ride. Sunshine is Unity Stamps and car filler and sentiment from SU Loads of Love. Paper: PTI white and Bitty Dot Basics. Sponged edges with PTI Aqua mist and SU Lucky Limeade. I used glossy accents on some white paper dots for the headlights. 

Glitter it Up

A card for the challenge over at Casual-Fridays Glitter it up! Use glitter, ribbon etc. to make it sparkle.

I used glitter ribbon and glittered up the center of the flower. I used silver emboss and shimmer paint to the flower to add to the glitz. Stamps by Hero Arts and SU, Cuttlebug embossing folders.

Chevrons and Flowers

Hello again, this card is so cheery. Weather is not so cheery at all. Unbelievable -15 (celsius) degrees this morning. I'm sure that has to be record breaking!! Canada is cold but this is ridiculous already! 

Today I am joining a brand new challenge called Fusion Card Challenge New for me and a new challenge. I chose to use the combination of the photo and the sketch. Sounds fun check it out. Also this card meets the requirements for Casual-Fridays CFC97- Create a Clean And Simple project that features both chevrons and flowers!

I used punches for all of the flowers, Sizzlet for leaves. Stamps by Lawnfawn, Unity and SU. I drew the black line border and bee trail in by hand.
