Glitter Inlays

This card is for the Make it Monday challenge 334 Check out the details of Glitter Inlays HERE I made a Fall thank you card with PTI Woodgrain embossing plate and the sentiment is from Through the trees. I added a few little speckles with markers. I glossed up the heart with glossy accents.

Happy Friday Everyone! My card is for the challenge at Papertrey Ink MIM. HERE is the details.
I used Polka Dot Basics for the background in grey. Flowers are from an old SU set Embrace Life. Thanks die is from PTI.

I thought I'd jazz it up a bit with glossy accents on the butterflies and copic colored a bit more yellow on the flowers. Not sure if I like it better or not?

CFC 180 Friendship

I'm getting my card in at the last minute. This one is going for the Casual Fridays challenge and you can find out more RIGHT HERE

I used the CF Pretty Posies set. This set is so versatile! I also used a SSStamp die and SU sets Artistically Awesome and Simply Said. I glossed up the dragon fly and flower centers with glossy accents and added some Nuvo drops to the polka dots for a bit of dimension. 

May '17 Blog Hop

It's time for the Blog Hop over at Papertrey Ink. All the details can be found HERE This is the inspiration photo.

I made a Thank you card for my take on the photo. I used the PTI stamp set Remember. Long time since I used that set. And the SU set Heard from the Heart. I stamped it on watercolor paper and then watercolored after stamping and added a bit of black centers with some glossy accents although it's hard to see. A little tag stamps with Lots of Thoughts. I love these colors!!

Make it Monday Thank You

I'm back with a Papertrey Ink Make it Monday card for the challenge HERE I sponged a square as my background box and stamped and clear embossed the flower pot from stamp set Everyday Button Bits and the flowers from Garden Variety. Die cut word is from Stamplorations and embossed to add some shine and dimension. Just a simple little thank you card!!

Cover Plate Tags

I'm entering this tag into the Make It Monday Challenge at Papertrey Ink. I used the PTI Coverplate Twisted die for my tag. The flower is embossed with the mini background stamp from Strawberry Patch and pearl embossing powder. I base watercolored the background tag with my Zig Clean Color markers.

Thank You Card

Hi everybody! It's been a cloudy rainy week and I'm here with a card for two challenges. Thanks with Twine Casual Fridays HERE and Reverse Stencilling Make it Monday HERE Love the effect of the reverse stencil. Must try that again. I used Spellbinders and PTI BBlooms dies, PTI Aqua Mist,Winter Wisteria and Memento Pear tart and SU Night of Navy inks. Stamps PTI Lovely Labels and Beautiful Blooms.

Splatters and Florals

I'm back with another card that I am entering in two challenges. One at Less Is More and the other at Casual Fridays I embossed PTI clock and masked it to create a frame for my floral wreath. Used splatters and sentiment from SU. I added a few glossy accent droplets all around which you probably can't see but they add a bit of shine.

Vellum to Soften backgrounds

For the Make it Monday #210  challenge I heat embossed some flowers from the PTI set  Beautiful Blooms 2 onto the vellum and the leaves underneath are from All About You. Sentiment is from Hello Sunshine. It was a fun challenge! 

Papertrey February Bloghop

This is my entry for the Papertrey Feb Blog Hop 2014 I used PTI Garden Variety, Hello Sunshine, Polka Dot Basics and Strawberry Patch stamps, Aqua Mist Cardstock and Pretty Pastels paper pack. It still looks like it needs something but not sure what so left it so I could get it posted. Now to check out the others!

Layered Embossing

This is my card for Heather's Layered Embossing technique. To check it out go HERE

I used the PTI Butterfly stamp set and the emboss resist technique for my first layer. I colored the butterfly with some copic markers, then used the alcohol marker to take the ink off the flower and swirls within that butterfly.

I found out that you have to be very careful not to overheat the second embossing layer as it tends to run together easily. So that's my project!!

Repeats and Rainbows

I finally did a Make it Monday challenge. Here's my color choice and the card I came up with. 

--Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and one of the rainbow color schemes illustrated above along with a repeated die-cut or stamped image.

Stamp set of choice was PTI Up Up and Away and I used the PTI cloud diecut to sponge in some sky color.

Stamping on Patterned paper

Back again with a "Stamped on Patterned paper" thank you card for Make it Monday #73 challenge I used a new Stampin Up stamp on PTI Pretty Pastels paper, with Berry Sorbet ink. Kraft paper and jute twine are from PTI. 

 

Bordered Sentiments

I'm back and finally took the time to do a challenge card again. It seems like it has been a busy spring even though we have had a rainy cool one. Looks like the heat is here!! This card is for the challenge over at Papertrey Ink Make it Monday I used the PTI Strawberry Patch stamp set. Colored with copics. My border is drawn twice because my green circle just didn't show up with just one. I cut a second template circle and drew another line, colored in between the two. Very simple technique for a quick card. 

Coffee Thank you envelope

 Happy New Year Everyone! So quickly another year is done and gone. My first project of the year begins with a challenge project for Cas-ual Fridays. To see the details click HERE and for Market Street Stamps block party. To see the details of all this fun click HERE
I used the digi stamp provided by Market Street so that I could play along. I have added a picture with the score lines. Very easy. Just add your double sided sticky tape along the edge of the 3" and 5" spots and along the edges of ends. After folding and glueing edges trim a small edge at the 4" mark. This will be where your gift card slides into. I added a velcro dot for the closure along with the twine. Decorate however you wish. I chose to use the digi stamp and fit it in with a computer sentiment. Bottom sentiment stamp and edge is by SU.

Here's my card with a School theme for a challenge over at Unity Stamps I used the March kit of the Month. Teacher word is computer generated.

Card and Tag Challenge

Here's the final Card and Tag challenge for the season over at Joan's garden  This card is done in BoBunny papers. I hand cut the top of the card to match the tag. The "doilies" are done with Spellbinders. A little ribbon and a few buttons and twine added. One stamp from SU used for the flowers on the doilies. I had to keep it more simple because I ran out of time.
