Papertrey December Blog Hop Challenge
Happy Boxing day everyone!! We are still celebrating Christmas today with turkey and all the trimmings. Another day of food and fun. Christmas is really the most wonderful time of the year.
Head on over to Papertrey's Blog Hop for action and details on the "Holiday's Leftover" challenge. Things to use are leftover wrapping paper, canceled postage, bows, photos etc. So here's my take on this challenge. I used a strip of leftover gold wrapping paper folded to make a band, a ribbon piece, some awesome butter cookies and a few candy in the box. The box I used is a leftover pkg from some small Christmas tree ornaments. On the front tag I used PTI Vintage labels and All About You. Fun creation!
Email me if you would like the recipe for these cookies.

Glittering all the way
This is a technique called "Glitter Masking" as shown at Paper trey ink make-it-monday #44 by Jennifer. My project is a picture for a shabby frame that I have. I cut out my masks with PPT ink ric rack for the red garland and scalloped trim edger for the bottom of the tree. The tree base is stamp from Tree Trimming Trio. The ornaments and star are punches. I mounted it on a piece of Simply Chartreuse cardstock. A bit of a messy technique but glad I tried it : )

Pleated Ribbon #2
My second attempt at a Ribbon Pleat technique from Papertrey's Make it Monday. I used PTI White cardstock and Tree trimming Trio stamps. Also used is an old Christmas stamp set Trim the Tree from SU. Silver embossing. Ribbon is just from an old stash.
Pleated Ribbon
Here's my entry for the Make it Monday #43 using the pleated ribbon technique. I used some Papertrey Berry Sorbet and a bit of Simply Chartreuse cardstock. Stamps PTInk Friend's till the End and Lovely Labels from Gina K Designs.
