Dimensional Wreath Challenge #137

Here's my card using leaves to make a dimensional wreath. Check out the challenge HERE I used the PTI Border die. Cut it down the middle, made little indentations in each leaf and then wound it around in a circle. I snipped a few leaves and then layered them on top to fill in some spaces. The sentiment is from PTI Tree Trimming Trio and papers from PTI Holiday Flourishes and Swirls. Was going to add some berries etc but just didn't think it needed it.

Papertrey October Blog Hop Tags

My favourite paper thing to make. Tags. Especially Christmas tags. Fun to put some of my Christmas sets to use. Check out all the tags and inspiration right HERE I used PTI sets Believe, Wreath for all Seasons and the PTI paper pack Holiday Flourishes and Swirls. I used some paperclay on a star and stocking and also added lots of gold foiling.

Textured Stamped Tag

I kept thinking that this tree from PTI stamp set Holiday Tree might work well for the textured stamping. I stamped the tree in halves swooping down on each side to give it a bit of a branch look. Kind of hard to see on the picture. Details on Textured stamping HERE at Papertrey Ink.

Textured Stamping

Here's my card for Papertrey Ink Challenge #136 I used PTI stamp sets Text Boxed and sentiment from Damask Designs. I wanted just a subdued, slightly modern look with the black grey and white design so I just accented with a bit of dull gold and a single rhinestone. The textured stamping gave it a bit of a brushstroke look. I like it!!

Argyle Stitching

This is my entry for the Casual-Fridays challenge CFC117:  Use real or faux stitching on your CAS project. I decided to try some Argyle by cutting out the diamonds first on the navy and then glueing it down onto some kraft cardstock. Stitched with white pen. My stitching looks a bit wrinkly. Didn't think it would be that hard to get those lines real straight. Anyway it's nice to have some masculine cards on hand. Stamp from PTI and then I placed the circle into a Memory keepers metal ring. Tied up with a bit of red ribbon.

Birthday Repeat and Lift

I needed a birthday card so I went looking for something that would work for this week's Papertrey Ink Make it Monday project. I didn't have any matching stamps and die cuts so I used the PTI All about You stamp set. Did some fussy cutting and it all worked out ok in the end. The colors on the backgound are rolled on with a brayer roller. I didn't put the color on the embossing folder because I wanted it subtle.
