Glittered Frames
And here is my project for the Make it Monday #191 Glittered frames. I used PTI stamps Through the Trees and sentiment from Tree Trimming Trio. I sponged the sky with TH Faded Jeans. I double stamped the trees, one with color and then second with versamark and used white pearl embossing powder. That about sums it up. I really does look nicer in real.

Stamping Plaid
This is my project for the Make it Monday #190 Stamping Plaid I used an old retired set from SU Perfect Plaids to create my plaid. I've never had much luck using this set before but after watching the video by Ashley it worked lots better. I used PTI Stamp set Wreath for all Seasons, Leaf border die and raspberry fizz paper and ink. I added some gold embossed lines to the plaid as well.

Snowflakes, Candle and Candycanes
Here's a fun project inspired by Melissa Philip's video at Papertrey Ink Make It Monday#182. Check it out HERE I made a Christmas Jar to hold candycanes or it works great as a votive holder as well. I used Annie Sloan chalk paint stamped with PTI Holiday Tree snowflakes in white and silver. I die cut the snowflake out of a stick vinyl and painted overtop. Removed the vinyl and embossed a white snowflake in center. The candycanes show through the unpainted glass very nicely. Top rim is Deco Tex snow. Turned out pretty cute!!

Negative Cover Plate #2
Here's a second go at the Make It Monday #177 "Using Cover Plate Negatives". Again I used the PTI Twist coverplate to lay the diamond shapes and the little gold inbetween shapes. Great way to lay a perfect line of shapes to a card. A very clean and simple card which I don't often make.
Cover Plate Negative Technique
It's a cool rainy end of the week so it's been fun getting into my papers and doing a little organizing and getting a card done for the Make it Monday #177 Using Cover Plate Negatives I used Papertrey's white cardstock, burlap twine and the Twist cover plate (love this plate) for my card. After I had my piece cut out and negative glued down, it looked quilted so I just thought "baby card" which I need in my collection. The teddy bear is from a long ago retired SU stamp set. Probably one of my very first stamp purchases.

Diamond Wallpaper Stamping Make it Monday 174

I colored in between the lines with a yellow marker although it is hard to see it. Stamped with SU Night of Navy and cardstock. I embossed the yellow CS with a Darice embossing folder and cut the bottom of the pink with a PTI scalloped edge die. I made a paper flower by cutting then wetting and scrunching the paper. Added a few pearls etc.

No Outline Watercolor #173
It's certainly been awhile since my last post!! Whew, summer time busy. This technique/challenge looked so fun I just knew I wanted to try it. It looks lots easier than it actually is. This was my third attempt. I want to try more of this for sure. My stamp is the big strawberry from PTI Strawberry Patch. I used ink refills by SU. To keep my dots on the strawberries I used my versamark pen and a bit of clear embossing powder to keep the ink from seeping into them. It worked quite well. Added PTI jute twine and a little wooden butterfly.

Using Paper Scraps
This is my entry for the challenge at Make It Monday#162 I realized after the fact that mine isn't exactly a pie chart and yet still stems out of the middle. Hope it's ok. I did use up lots of small scrap pieces that I thought coordinated nicely. I used the Feather Finery stamp set and die. Tied it up with a bit of finely woven burlap like fabric and twine and button. Before I glued it together I sponged the center line to give it a feather spine.

Water Splats
It's a rainy rainy saturday so I fiddled with my card and this is what I came up with for the challenge at Papertrey's Make it Monday #161 It definitely was a fun trial. I wished I would have used something different in my little circle tag and I may change it at some point. It's ok. I used words stamps from PTI Text Boxed, PTI Scalloped Border die, TH Distress Inks and Gold embossing powder. Circle stamp and embossing folder by SU.

I'm back after missing lots of the challenges. Just couldn't get my mojo going! Anyway here's my card for the Capture the Moment Make it Monday #158 Heather just made it look so easy. This was my 3rd attempt and I'm not totally happy with the outcome. I used the Gelatos and PTI Feather Finery. I've got a wierd shadow going on on the right side?? not sure what that's all about. I think this will make a nice sympathy card.

Blog Hop time at Papertrey All pink!! Love it! I used PTI Damask Designs stamp set and an old SU background stamp. PTI cardstock Berry Sorbet and SU Pretty in pink. Embossed in white.
