Using Paper Scraps
This is my entry for the challenge at Make It Monday#162 I realized after the fact that mine isn't exactly a pie chart and yet still stems out of the middle. Hope it's ok. I did use up lots of small scrap pieces that I thought coordinated nicely. I used the Feather Finery stamp set and die. Tied it up with a bit of finely woven burlap like fabric and twine and button. Before I glued it together I sponged the center line to give it a feather spine.

Sadie, this is beyond beautiful! Love your concept of creating the feather with scraps! Really just love everything you did here, the woodgrain, the pink feather background, the sweet burlap, wow, great card!
ReplyDeletePie chart or not, PTI must have liked it because it is featured on their Facebook page. I think it's absolutely gorgeous. I would never have thought of using the feather for this challenge. Genius.
